Culinary mash-up

Good news friends! Hell week is officially done, and it is time for me to get some R&R and embark on some photo adventures!

I snapped a couple shots of some good food I had this week that I thought I'd share.

First off to bat is the Brooklyn Bagel Bakery, a shop in Clarendon that has the best bagels around. (Sorry Chesapeake Bagels - I love you too!)



Our table was right next to the glassed-in kitchen where we could watch the from-scratch bagel-making process. For inquiring minds, I had an everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese. Nom Nom Nom...

Have any of you tried zPizza? My celiac friend and I ordered in for lunch this week (they have gluten free crust) - and I got the ZBQ pizza.



This luscious piece of heaven is topped with BBQ sauce, mozzarella, BBQ chicken, roasted peppers, red onions, tomatoes, fresh cilantro, sweet corn.  The dough is kneaded fresh by angelic choirs, and final delivery is made on the wings of flying unicorns.

Or something like that.

If you can't tell - I highly recommend this pizza! Awesome work pick-me up and all-around delicious treat.
