It's all in the eyes

First thing - I love the bokeh next to Colin's template. Bokeh is a japanese word for the out-of-focus areas of the picture. When you have a shallow depth of field you can get some pretty spectacular bokeh.

But for the subject - what are Colin's eyes conveying? I can't really tell. Demure amusement? Subtle hostility? Frank indifference? Adjective noun?

Any ideas?
